Do Christians like other Christians? Of course we do. God says we are to forgive others and be kind to everyone. In Luke 6:35, 36 Jesus tell us: "But love your enemies, do good and lend, hoping for nothing in return; and your reward will be great, and you will be sons of the Most High. For He is Kind to the unthankful and evil. Therefore, be merciful, jus as you Father also is merciful."

This is a short story I read in my bible:

One day Anthony asked, "Do Christians like other Christians?" This sounds like a funny question, but it is a good one. One of Anthony's Christian friends had made him feel that he didn't like him.

Sometimes we forget how kind God is to us and think we can treat others any way we want. God says we are to forgive others and be kind to everyone. But we should be extra nice to those who belong to the Lord Jesus. It hurts Him when we aren't.

Remember, a merciful man or woman is one who does not act mean toward someone, even when he or she deserves it! He shows kindness. Jesus' power can help you do this. Then you will have the happiness that comes to those who are fulll of mercy.

Think About this: A mean word is always heard by God!
