How does God look like? - This is a question everyone at some point ask themselves. As for me, when I was a boy, I asked myself this question frequently. We as humans like to associate things with how they look. But God is not a thing. God is all! He is the beginning and the end. Its very difficult to imagine how God looks like.

If you are reading this message its because you want to know how God looks like, no person in this earth will be able to tell how he really looks like wtih certainty. You're probably wondering, as I did in my childhoor; "If God doesn't look like anything, How do I know he is real?" How do I know God is real? - This is a good question, a good example to show you God is real is to give you an example.

When you are outside, often you feel the wind blow on your hair or your body. But, you can't see the wind, but you know its real because you feel blowing through your hair. Think of God like that. We can't see him but we know He real.

As a young boy, I remember when I saw pictures of God at the cathedral when my mom would take me to church. My mother was a catholic and used to take to me Sunday church. At church I would see statues of Jesus, Angels and God. There were also paintings of images of Angels, Jesus and God himself.
In the paitings, God looked like 60 year old man with a white beard and long white hair. Jesus also had a beard and long hair, except He looked like a 30 year old man with dark hair. As a young boy, when I would pray to God, I would have this images of God in my mind thinking this is how God looks like. As I grew up, I wondered if I a was praying to those images of God I saw in church. I did want to be praying and having those images of God while I prayed because I knew those are images of man. A man created those images on the walls and of those statues.
As I grew up, I learned more about God through the bible. As I understood more about God's word and teachings, I understood what the message was. I remember reading the Ten Commandments(Exodus 20:3-7). - specifically the 1st and 2nd Commandments:

1st. "You shall not have other gods before me."

2nd. "You shall not make for yourself a carved image."

Also I remember reading the bible and saying that God is a jealous god. In Exodus 20:5 God says:

"For I, the Lord your God, am a jealous God"

Since then, I pray to the Lord Jesus. He exist through the Holy Spirit and in my heart. Just like the wind, I feel his presence in me. He doesn't like look anything, yet He is everything. I look at the birds, the animals, the mountains, the oceans, People, the sky and I see God. He created everything, He is everything. The Beginning and the End. But you don't have to take my word for it, instead read the bible and learn more about God and you will find the answer to your question through God's word.

Amen
